| The ECOPAL technology
of KINSEISEISHI has successfully created new scrubbing
brushes by utilizing “Sodium Bicarbonate” and
“Citric Acid” instead of “Surface-Active Agents”
or “Surfactants”.
Sodium Bicarbonate and Citric Acid are environmentally-friendly
materials.
The ECOPAL technology (acronym for Ecological Product
of Air-Laid) itself uses no water and no chemicals
during manufacturing process.
The ECOPAL products are free from residual chemicals.
The ECOPAL technology is free from water pollution.
The ECOPAL technology can preserve properly the powders
of “Sodium Bicarbonate” and “Citric Acid”
Environmentally-friendly scrubbing brushes are
born through the combination of safe materials
and technological excellence. |

Sodium Bicarbonate or the more well-known Baking Soda with chemical formula年aHCO3・has the following features. |
| This scrubbing brush has the
following features. |
| 1) |
Is only partially water soluble and its solution is weakly alkaline with a pH of 8.2. |
| 2) |
Is used in food and as a component of medicines
for the stomach. |
| 3) |
Is used as a polishing powder because of
the fine nature of the particles. |
|
| 2: |
Baking soda or
Sodium Bicarbonate has been used at home as a “Cleanser”
and “Deodorizer” based on the experience of generations
of housewives. |
| 3: |
KINSEISEISH’s
state-of-the-art ECOPAL technology has successfully
created a new substrate in which baking soda is
properly preserved. |
| This scrubbing brush has the
following features. |
| 1) |
Alkalinity of pH 8.2 provides
a good cleaning effect against acidic stains,
working by the neutralization of acidity with
alkalinity. |
| 2) |
Baking soda that escapes from the brush
works well as a polishing agent against hard
solid stains. |
| 3) |
One side of the brush is very rough because
of specially designed coarse fibers and the
other side is smooth and fine.
Both sides can be used depending on the type
of stain. |

Citric Acid, with
chemical formula, HOOC.CH2.COH.COOH.CH2.COOH, has
the following features. |
| 1) |
Exists naturally in fruits
and manufactured from starch, mainly corn and
sweet potato,at factories today. |
| 2) |
Is easily soluble in water and the solution has
an acidity of pH2.1 |
| 3) |
For a long time, it has been, and still
is being used as a natural sterilizer, disinfectant
and deodorizer at home based on the experience
of generations of housewives.
Japanese especially, are used to using "Vinegar・for house cleaning. |
| 4) |
Is effective to remove or scrub out hard
stains with alkalinity, as it neutralizes
alkalinity with acidity. |
|
| 2: |
With the ECOPAL
technology, powder of “Citric Acid” is properly
preserved in the scrubbing brush. |
